Not at all. Every discipline has a Beginner group, and most of our members started from zero. Two left feet are welcome.

No. Most members come alone. Partners rotate during group classes, and couples are always welcome too.

Yes, if they want to. Children start with internal club competitions, and those who are ready and keen are prepared by their coach for official tournaments.

Usually Kids Ballroom Intermediate. The coach will confirm after the first class.

Yes, parking is available on site for members, parents and guests.

Yes. Halls are available outside class hours for rehearsals, private lessons, shoots and small events. Send a request and we will confirm availability within 24 hours.

To keep groups small and matched by level, and to keep the atmosphere right. It is not about being exclusive for the sake of it. It is about who you share the floor with.

Yes. Memberships can be frozen once for up to 14 days, for travel or illness. Just let us know before your next class.

Missed group classes can be made up within the same membership period in another group of the same level, when space allows.

Absolutely. Club memberships can be used across any group classes at your level.

Room 203 is a private dance club in Dubai with Beginner groups in Latin Ballroom, Salsa and Argentine Tango, plus open-level Stretching. No experience or partner is needed, and new members start with a trial class.

Room 203 offers Kids Ballroom classes in Standard and Latin ballroom. Group classes are for children aged 6 to 10 in Beginner and Intermediate levels, and private lessons are available from age 5.

Room 203 creates first dance choreography for couples through private lessons. The dance is set to your song and adapted to your level, with no experience needed. Starting two to three months before the wedding is recommended.

Salsa has Cuban roots and developed in New York; it is fast, energetic and full of turns. Bachata comes from the Dominican Republic and is slower, softer and danced in a closer hold. Both are social partner dances.

Most beginners feel comfortable with the basic steps after two to three months of regular classes. Reaching an intermediate level usually takes around a year, depending on how often you train.

A group class costs AED 150 and a private lesson AED 500. Private lesson packages bring the rate down to AED 460 (5+), AED 415 (21+) and AED 365 (51+) per lesson. See the Prices page for details.

Room 203 offers dance hall hire in Al Quoz outside class hours, by the hour or for an evening: sprung wooden floors, full-length mirrors, sound system, air conditioning and on-site parking.

Comfortable clothes that allow free movement. Dance shoes are recommended but not required; clean shoes with a smooth sole are fine for a first class.
