Standard and Latin ballroom for children: posture, coordination, musicality — and how to walk out in front of people with their head held high.
Video · coming soonKids Ballroom at Room 203Standard is the elegant side: Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Slow Foxtrot and Quickstep, danced in a closed hold and flowing across the floor. Latin is the energetic side: Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble and Jive, full of rhythm and character.
Children develop posture, coordination, musicality and stamina, and they learn things that are harder to teach at a desk: discipline, respect for a partner, how to handle nerves and how to walk out in front of people with their head held high. Classes are structured and focused, and still enormous fun. Children usually leave tired, proud and already asking about the next lesson.
